Brighton Dam 01

The Brighton Dam Azalea Garden is located in Maryland. It is off the beaten track, but as you can see from the pictures, well worth a visit when the azaleas are blooming. Not really shown, the gardens also has lots of flowering dogwoods that are usually in bloom the same time as the azaleas. The tricky part is being there when they are at their peak. It will vary from year to year.
