Mercer Arboretum

Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens, located on the north side of Houston, is a garden of Texas native plants, including wildflowers, meat-eating plants, and endangered species. Of course, other plants are present too. There are miles of nature trails, koi ponds, picnic areas and guided tours are also available. It also has various activities every month. Best of all, admission is free.
