Lost Maples

Lost Maples State Natural Area is an area known for colorful fall foliage. I found myself somewhat disappointed. Yes, there were some beautiful trees, but they were not numerous. The easy part of the East trail has treacherous spots, and it gets worse from there. A word of warning: One the East trail, turn back at the outhouse.
